The modern workforce offers tremendous opportunities for men and women prepared to apply advanced technology in their fields.

“Degrees that work” – a broadcast production of Pennsylvania College of Technology and WVIA public television – introduces 21st century career and education opportunities.

In 2008-09, the series will focus on careers related to Advanced Materials and Diversified Manufacturing.

Industry drives economy

Pennsylvania has identified nine targeted industry clusters that drive the state’s economy. More than two-thirds of jobs in the state are found in these areas.
